Once again I tend to claim that science is my forte but when it comes to the crunch at the local quiz night, I often fall flat. It's funny how easy it is to confuse something you're interested in, or excited about, by something you actually know about. I would always claim to know about science and history, but in reality when I'm asked a science question, my knowledge is going to be better than most people's but I will start to struggle unless it is some specific subject like astronomy which I have a very strong background in.

Medicine I am very hazy about and chemistry I was awful in school. Lots of random pieces of fact like the one I can see there about the polygraph, this is fair enough and I know random things but this is really as much general knowledge as it is science. I'm a little dubious about maths falling into the science question but I suppose it doesn't really belong anywhere else. Is maths a form of science? Hmm confusing.

That question I can see about choloroform, you could argue that's actually a history question! The rules of these categories can be a bit confusing, can't they?
